The Woodshop, situated near the Ballpark, is open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.and on Thursday evenings 6-8 p.m. (always subject to a volunteer Monitor being on duty). The shop is equipped with all the machines and hand-tools necessary to construct furniture and cabinetry.

The Club maintains a good supply of lumber viz. oak, and other hardwoods, secondary woods such as alder and poplar as well as birch plywood. These are sold to members at below-retail prices.

Dues are $70 per year. Basic training and completion of a safety course are required of new members at an additional, one-time, fee of $30. Skill-improvement classes are available and a 'mentoring' program is available for members who are new to the craft. Lathe work is popular and a Carvers Special Interest Group accomodates those members who wish to indulge in that craft. The Carvers meet every Tuesday from 6 - 8 p.m.

The Club is active in community projects and has built many pieces of classroom furniture for local school districts and donates hundreds of shop-built toys each year to local pediatric hospitals, schools and welfare organizations.

Interested persons are welcome to visit the Woodshop and learn more about the Club.

New Members can join the Club online by filling out the Membership Application.
